Meet “Drifter”

Found Sept. 18th
I first made my appearance to a nice family at the front of a neighborhood off Old Owen Rd and 254th Dr SE. They let me eat, visit outside with them, and say hello to their inside cats through the door. I was so grateful to know that they like cats and would keep an eye out for me.

Still Around Oct. 4th
I’m still trying to find somewhere to be that’s safe. It’s getting colder and rainy. A lady next to the first house heard me meowing in a scary place and let me jump into her yard. I followed her to her backyard after her dog went inside. So now I’ve found another nice neighbor with a porch I can visit! Good thing these people have some cat food on hand and places for me to hide out when needed!

Oct. 19th
I’ve been visiting back and forth with the families who have been nice to me. I’m mostly staying on the porch I’ve taken over from the family with the dog. They turned a wire dog crate into my personal heated den and feed me a couple times a doy. I’ve been told I can’t stay much longer out here though because the dog doesn’t like me much. I’m just happy to be dry and warmer.

Oct. 7th
I was taken to a local veterinarian today and they scanned me for a microchip, but nothing was found. Apparently I’m a girl cat who’s about a year old. Maybe I’ll get a warm home for my birthday?
